“More medicines, but less healthiness”- His Holiness Dalai Lama
Our proposition intends to solve one problem – Access to primary care in rural India. This is caused by the twin factors of shortage of doctors & health workers and lack of cost-effective diagnostic technologies for the rural environment.
Our solution is “Decision-support Software” in the form of an Electronic Health Record a system that is easy-to-use, secure, compliant with standards, scalable and replicable in a language-agnostic manner.
The hypothesis of our solution is that 90% of rural medical consultations are for primary care reasons; safe primary care can be provided through a good history and basic physical examination and diagnostic tests. Shortage of doctors and their maldistribution are problems that cannot be solved quickly; our software is the bridge connecting frontline rural health workers and the doctors enabling flow of clinical data from the patient in a way a doctor would have done if she/he were present in person.

A software to identify patients likely to require ventilator support in an ICU and referral in time and make necessary arrangements before emergency sets in. The software, called Covid Severity Score (CSS) Software, consists of an algorithm that measures a set of parameters. It scores each against a pre-set dynamic algorithm multiple times for each patient and allocates a CSS, mapping it in a graphical trend. DST has recognised it as Covid19 solution and was published on Vigyan Prasar and PIB
